The Bangalore Intranet Project

It was agreed upon in a high profile meeting that it is a matter of great shame that the Bangalore office of Interwoven does not have an intranet site. Tut! Tut!

Getting a site up was and continues to be a big deal. This is an attempt at documenting the whole process as it happens.

Update: Ok, so he couldn’t find the time to do it. Here’s a screenshot of the new Intranet site anyway. Runs on Mediawiki.

Update: Very touching to see the most unexpected of users go fix that error in a page. The wiki magic is really on.

Phishing filter in IE7

Phishing is a really big problem today, if media outlets are to be believed:

Media outlets have reported that phishing-related scams have resulted in more than $2 billion in fraudulent bank and financial charges to date.

While Firefox extensions exist today to fight phishing, they do little more than prominently display the domain name.

He doesn’t want to bias your opinion too much. Read it for yourself. It is easy to formulate a conspiracy theory if you care to look.
