Karnataka Elections 2008
After months of President’s rule the political atmosphere in Karnataka is heating up again. The Election Commission of India has announced a timeline for the assembly elections.

Elections to the 224-member Karnataka assembly will be held in three phases on May 10, 16 and 22.
Counting of votes -May 25
So that’s roughly 35 days until election day. The common opinion about the 3 big parties is shared by almost all the pundits. JD(S) will be punished by the people for its tasteless brand of politics. The Congress party is trying to cozy up with people with their pro-farmer policies, but they cannot agree on a candidate for Chief Minister. The BJP is riding on a sympathy wave, having been wronged by the JD(S). But with elections, you never know how it’s going to turn out.
Over the next few posts, I’d like to follow the progress of the run-up to the elections. This special interest is due in part to Anjan, who chided me for not showing enough interest. People in Karnataka mostly vote for the party, and not for the person. I would like this to change. Toward that end, I’ll try to post something about the candidates themselves, at least in my own constituency viz. Uttarahalli Assembly Constituency – the southern part of Bangalore Urban.

Vote BJP IN KARNATAKA FOR RIGHTS OF KANNADIGAS

I Request Election Commissioners not to sanction Caste based regional party. In Tamilnadu, there are 15 new caste parties have come apart from PMK who is the main party in UPA govt, is a caste party-Vanniyar caste party..His leader Mr.Ramadoss, Dr Anbumoney Ramadoss,now it is a fashion that all the doctors in TN, are starting cste based political parties, since through caste only they got seat in Medical.College.
All these 15 new caste parties got Media-Television,like Suntv(Who is having double role in Karnataka it is called Udaya TV, but news are different hailing Kannada, there it is traditional of Tamil praising), ,Makkal TV,Megha TV,Tamilan TV(PMK, ) and they are manipulating the scene, Since TV are powerful Media to reach people in regional language, like exagregatting (Making Big issue in TV) take for Hognekal issue , these TN Channels all TV are broadcasting lie that Tamils are being targetted for Killing in Bangalore, This is unpardonable..
By showing lie repeatedly, they want these two people will quarrel more hence there will be fighting, so more news are adding for them.secondly in people’s mind,they(Party) will stand by showing Tamil and Tamilans.
Hence i request Election commissioners to scrap all caste political parties, these parties are waiting for opportunity for these two states to fight so that they will come to power by inducing Tamilans, in two words Tamil,Tamilans.
In general Dravidian Tamils are more fanatic in approach, Muscle oriented,more of arrogant in nature, since basically i am a Tamilian but i belong to Iyers, Brahamins .
I used to feel the lot of difference between these two states, Kannadigas are very soft in nature,wheras Tamils are very Hard and arrogant in nature eactly equivalant to Muslims., may be the eating structure are the same for these two..Kannadigas being vegetarians especially Lingayats are very soft and God fearing nature, whereas Tamils are not mostly gods fearing.
Even now DK,DMK, are saying Tamils are not Hindus.
That is why these two states Karnataka and Tamilnadu are always fighting, since culture are different.
But in my Humble Opinion Kannadigas are the Good, Innocent, Sweet people then Dravidan Tamils.
In Iyers we love Karnataka then Tamilnadu, though we belong to TN.
Especially Hindu faith is more in Karnataka.
That is why BJP has got edge over rivals in this elections.
This is my True Opinions.

1)BETTER tRANSPORT FACILITY IN bANGALORE AND IN kARNATAKA.
2)METRO RAIL IMMEDIATE STARTING.
3)LIASON WITH ALL INDUSTRIAL OWNERS AND IT OWNERS FOR MORE INDUSTRY TO SOLVE EMPLOYMENT PROBLEM.
4)KARNATAKA RIGHTS IN KAVERY ISSUE, WATER SHARING MORE TO KARNATAKA IN THAT BANGALORE WATER SUPPLY OF KAVERY WATER IS IMPORTANT.
5)MORE POLICE STATIONS.POLICE FORCES SHOULD BE WELL TRAINED.
6)MORE IRRIGATION PROJECTS FOR AGRICULTURE.
7)GIVE EDUCATION TO ALL.NO LALLU STYLE.
8)MORE FLYOVERS TO AVOID TRAFFICE CONJESTION.
9)MORE USAGE OF KANNADA IN BANGALORE AND KARNATAKA.
10)IT CITIES SHOULD BE DEVELOPED IN HUBLI,MYSORE,DAVNGERE.
PRECISELY WANTS ACTION PLANNED PARTY.NOT CORRUPT PARTY,IT MAY BE BJP OR CONGRESS.
NO COMMUNISTS, COMMUNISTS RULING STATE HAVE PATHETIC LOOK IN DEVELOPEMENT.
WANTS LIKE GUJARATH STYLE.
My Personnal openion as a real Kannadiga, this time we do not want fractured verdict and all Hindus withour seeing candidates we must VOTE BJP.
Why:?
1)Congress could not control price rise, and inflation.
2)Congress only interested in dividing people on caste lines in Hindu to defeat BJP.
3)Congress is everybody knows in Karnataka that it is a corrupt party,
4)We are for the 3 years seeing the UPA rule that is congress and communists,Drama Play,Two states they are gighting but in centre they are giving support.
They are folling the people,really communists are folling the people in the name of secular.In a democratic soceity we must not discard one party as communal, this is purely selfish motive, and basically it is out of fear only congress and communists are doing, they know very well that BJP will rule well without corrupt, that is why they are not giving chance to rule.
This is highly condemanable.Actually it is against human rights.
Congress and communists have become nowadays become DMK, that is Anti-Hindu,Anti-North policy they are adopting with the advice of DMK.
We must through this anti hindu forces in this elections.
Next is, JDS.
A Pure Family Party and great Oppurtunists party, of course a caste party,they do not have any policy, in the name of Agriculture and farmers, they are duping the agriculture community and duping the people.
Karnataka people have witnessed their unforgottable drama 6 months back.
In this eletions JDS will be wiped out.
BSP , their presence is negligence.it is a caste party, no leaders in state,it is also northindian caste party which nobody will relied upon.
With this all reasons, my personnal openion is to elect BJP govt,massively, not for fractured verdict, like last time.
JDS is waiting for fractured verdict to ruin the state.
Hence Vote BJP.

Some people think that BJP is wronged by JD(S).But the reality is slightly different.I am not saying that Devegowda and his sons are saints.They can do anything to remain in power.Their only political principle is POWER and MONEY.
But BJP knew very well that Devegowda will ditch them once his son completes his term as chief minister.Not only BJP, even people of karnataka knew that.We all know him so well.Even a school kid who can follow politics to some extent could say what Devegowda is going to do.
BJP was desperate to come to power in karnataka.Remember since early 80s BJP has started contesting elections in Karnataka.No other political party has waited so much to come to power in Karnataka.
This made Yediyurappa to strike a deal with Kumaraswamy by making latter as CM, eventhough JD(S) had half as many seats as BJP.
So BJP having sympathy and all that is not true.They are simply shedding crocodile tears in front of public to garner votes.
Please dont vote for BJP. I just cant see my karnataka turn into another gujarath with so much bloodshed and riots, killing of thousands innocent people. how can developement take place if something like this take place.

has to the max. fulfilled water problem by re-placing the 4inch water line to 2 ft. supply line. The Gujarat State has 10
Big cities which are self sufficient & where all domestic problems were solved. Here in Karnatak
pl. don`t be under the impression that the riots & killing thousands of people were not there before.Development of State will progress positively in BJP tenured states.
May be Mr.Shaji is a Kerala Man he is afraid of BJP RETURN, it is not BJP doing all, the opposites parties hand in hand with fundamental paries like Muslim league is doing like this to give the Ghoostly picture.

secondly, In Chennai Marwadi community is attacked frequentely by Robbers and a lot of amount has been robbed off from them, even Government is not able to get the culprits for this. It is ashamed.
Even Mr.T.R.Balu who has done the govt mechinary wrongly towards his son’s industry , is not willing to resign.
Even Anbumoney Ramadoss who has misused govt mechinary wrongly to oust Dr.Venugopal of AIIMS.,This kind of ministersshould be thrown away by the people.
He is afterall a caste party man in TN BUT CONGRESS is afraid to oust him.

For and each every item Ramadoss is uttering social justics, the word Social justics is used for selfish purpose by politicians of Tamilnadu.and now UPA.

In the all development indexes, Gujarath is not ahead of Karnataka. Read mainly the basic things like Education etc. They are far behind. Each state in India has its own issues and own development models. So comparing Gujarath to Karnataka is not fair and not required. Kanndaigas have self esteem. No need to learn from Mr. Modi.
Even BJP mother organzation RSS is telling that BJP and Congress should combine and rule. Read Economic times of 19-May. This is becoming the universal truth.

I am proud to be a keralite and also proud to being brought up in a state like karnataka but i just dont like people stating me as keralite or kannadiga……i am a peace loving Indian citizen first. I love my country. As u said I agree that muslim league in kerala is a communal party…..but they work for the upliftment of poor and backward muslim in malapuram district which is the first 100% literate district……..they r not against any other community, their motto is not like BJP or RSS whose only intention is to cause harm to minority community and gain love and faith of hindus. I am not scared of BJP, i am just scared of riots and killings coz one of my relative have experienced it in gujarat. I know communal riots can happen in any party’s rule, but if at all it takes place for any reason then BJP only know to add fuel to the fire rather than supress it unlike other party.

I am a Kannadiga and presently staying in Gujarat for last 2 years. I find Gujarat extremely peaceful and talking of development there is hardly any
power cut or drinking water shortage. The roads are good and industries are prospering and we Kannadigas (in fact lot of professionals) like me have no other option but to shift to such state b coz we do not have enough employment in Karnataka. Why do you want to see only negative side. And as far as social service of RSS is concerned everybody knows they are the first people to reach in any place of calamity. Dont just blame RSS & BJP and think that Muslim League is a saint.

BJP is not Communal. They are not against Christians or Muslims .
In many areas in Bangalore the congress and JD(S) kill innocent people and hurt the Hindus who will inturn attck minorities becasue they are msiled by ANTI social elements who are nutured by Congress like SIMI, AL queda etc..
The BJP has no other go but to protect the majority by taking action on the criminals and the congress will start supporting them saying that whatever minorities do is correct
